Banned Breeds - Sheepway Dog Walking Field in Portishead

We know how important it is to be able to exercise your pets within a safe and secure environment. Sheepway Secure Dog Field will accept XL Bully dogs, with the below conditions being met:

• You have a certificate of exemption.
• Dog is microchipped and neutered.
• They must be kept on a lead and muzzled while out in public places including the car while travelling to the secure field. The muzzle must only be removed once you are safely inside the field with the gate closed. 
• You must have third party public liability insurance for your dog and be prepared to show this to us should it be requested. Our insurance will not cover you whilst you are on site. 
• 1 Handler per dog
• No mixing of dogs from other households whilst on site and using the facilities.
• We are required by law to ensure that the gate is padlocked whilst you are in the field. We will provide the padlock upon your entry to the field.

When making your booking for the secure field, please select the option for “Banned Breeds”. Following the booking, please email confirmation of your certificate of exemption and a copy of your insurance to the email address on the confirmation. We will only require your exemption certificate once. If you are a regular visitor to the facilities, please send us your up to date insurance at the point of renewal.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your dog and other people are protected. Please follow the rules to help us protect you, your dog and other users.
